Click the buttons below to read some powerful Refugee stories written by the amazing 5MC from St. Barnabas CEVC Primary School in Bristol. We were inspired by the story of Carly, a visit from the World Wide Education Project and an assembly which we performed to the school and parents.
Our school uses Pie Corbett's Talk for writing to help us create amazing and powerful stories Like them? Let us know on our blog! We love to hear from people all over the world! |

Tale of escapeThis is what the children came up with to help write the first part of their stories. We thought it was important to show how life was normal before our main character's (MC) life was turned upside down.
|
Tale of journeyThe second chapter of our stories deals with the difficult journeys and prejudices many refugees face as they search for safety.
|
Tale of sanctuaryThe final chapter is about the struggles many refugees face when they settle somewhere new and how, with luck, they can begin to feel settled.
